Hola riders and fans of the Grizzly Mtn Ride! The 2021 ride is well into the planning stages.
PLEASE NOTE! The ride is still considered “pending” by AERC. This is because we’re awaiting approval of our Covid plan by AERC. We’ll let everyone know as soon as this happens.
We have our loops figured out. Lois has lots of awards ordered, we have lots of folks signed up to ride and volunteer (THANK YOU!). We’ve been pre-riding the trail and about the only negative thing we can say is that for whatever reason, the once beautiful Willow Creek is dry as a bone, as it has been the last few years. Otherwise, the trails are dry and the grass is growing like crazy out there.
Please look at the 2021 Grizzly Mtn Rider Packet page. There are several important items you need to print and have ready for the ride. If you haven’t , please load the Ride with GPS app on your smartphone. When we release the loop tracks, you’ll be able to download them and follow the tracks. Very helpful for when the cows eat the ribbons off the trail.
We’ve also updated the Online Registration page. If you still need to pay for your ride, you may do so there. Some folks prefer to send a check. If that’s the case for you, please get in touch with Shawna Bowin. There’s a form to contact her on the Online Registration page.
PLEASE NOTE!! We will not be able to offer our usual BBQ dinner again this year, sadly, due to Covid guidelines. We WILL, however, be feeding our volunteers.
